Join The We Love Leith Local Shopping Campaign

The We Love Leith campaign aims to encourage people to stay in Leith to shop, instead of driving to out of town shopping centres. To this end, we're recruiting local organisations who wish to participate in our We Love Leith 'Bonus Bag' Scheme. The Bonus Bag acts like a local loyalty card, but it's a lot more practical.

We can offer local businesses that wish to particpate 50 free bags to begin with, worth £150 when you sell them. Plus free promotional materials (a window sticker and Counter top display), as well as a free listing in an on-line directory that will feature on this site.

In return, we ask participating businesses to provide some sort of offer to customers who have a Bonus Bag. We don't specify what that offer should be as we know that each business is different.

The scheme will also be promoted by a direct mail to every household in the Leith Neighbourhood Partnership (32,000 households), as well as via We Love Leith promotion events throughout the year. Participating businesses also have the option to run time limited offers through the scheme, with promotion via our We Love Leith SMS mailing list. 

You don't need to sell something that fits in a bag to participate, and you don't need to sell the bags either. We'll promote any business that agrees to provide a discount to people with a We Love Leith Bonus Bag.
